Mr. Muhammadu Dikko Ladan, CEO of Dar Al Halal Nigeria Limited, and H.E. Prof. Yerlan Alimzhanuly Baidaulet, DG of IOFS and Chairman of IFPA, signed an online Memorandum of Understanding to enhance cooperation on the development of the Nigerian meat sector.

International Islamic Food Processing Association (IFPA) will collaborate with Dar Al Halal Nigeria Limited, an IFPA Corporate member, on the establishment of the Nigeria National Halal Meat Hub to encourage local consumption and exportation of meat (lamb, beef, poultry) to West #Africa, African Sub-Regions, Gulf Cooperation Council #GCC, and the rest of #OIC countries, with the support of its parent organization – Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS). The project will use IFPA as a platform to facilitate #meat #trade within the specified geographical region.

Nigerian #agriculture has tremendous potential, notably in livestock and meat processing. The launched project would promote the market for standardization, quality, and production enhancement, as well as animal disease prevention, allowing Nigeria to fully utilize its meat export potential.

Dar Al Halal Nigeria Limited is hosting an event on April 27, 2023, at 10 AM (Abuja time) to discuss the 2023 #Nigeria #Halal Markets Opportunity & Prospects Report. DinarStandard Company developed the report “Seizing the Opportunity: Nigeria’s Path to Dominating the Halal Industry.” H.E. Prof. Yerlan A. Baidaulet, DG of IOFS and Chairman of IFPA will deliver the keynote address, as will other OIC organizations and Nigerian Ministry Representatives.
